Our Saturday was great. It started with perfect weather. (Just look at the sky in that photo. I mean P-E-R-F-E-C-T.) And ended with so many things crossed off our to-do list, that I couldn't help but be happy.
I was really happy when I saw this picture among all my morning's takes. It's a sight I'll never see again. Within a week there will be a subfloor above those walls. Also, its a good reminder of the old and the new. Here we are building a new home, but trying to save those old trees. I love seeing those two elements together.
