We've had a great taste of spring here in Southern Illinois. I hope it lasts. This week our carpenters were able to start and complete framing work inside the basement. (That's right. I said START and COMPLETE in the same sentence.) Our electric meter was installed, so Jason got the temporary power hooked up. Also, the sewer was inspected and installed. And oh yeah, the yard no longer resembles both a canyon and a mountain. It's closer to a rolling prairie now.
